In 1900, the Brothers of the Christian Schools founded the École Catholique d’Arts et Métiers (ECAM, or “Catholic School of Engineering”) in Reims, France to offer higher education in science and engineering. Based in Lyon since 1946, ECAM LaSalle has been managed by a charitable foundation since 1977. The school’s organization features various teaching and research departments, administrative departments, and academic programmes.
