ECAM LaSalle Scholarship Programme

A project reflecting our values

Since 1900, ECAM LaSalle (Lyon campus) has been training generations of creative and responsible engineers, committed to using their skills and ideas to build a sustainable future.

Rooted in the Lasallian tradition, ECAM LaSalle places students at the heart of its educational mission by promoting openness, cohesion and solidarity. Every student is unique — in their talents, aspirations and ways of learning — and the school is committed to supporting each individual in developing their personal and academic path.

Particular attention is given to students facing economic, academic, cultural or personal difficulties. To support them, the ECAM LaSalle Foundation has created a scholarship programme funded by donors’ generosity: “ECAM for All”. Scholarship recipients commit to the foundation through a charter of engagement.

Scholarships tailored to individual situations

Based on both social and academic criteria, the “ECAM for All” programme includes three types of support:

Tuition fee reductions

This reduction applies only to programmes eligible for state scholarships and is automatically granted upon proof of CROUS status:

  • Level 3: 30% reduction
  • Level 4: 40% reduction
  • Level 5: 50% reduction
  • Level 6: 60% reduction
  • Level 7: 70% reduction

Emergency Support Grant (“Coup de pouce Solidarité”)

This support helps students during difficult periods. It may take different forms:

  • Tuition fee reduction
  • Temporary accommodation
  • Preferential loan

In some cases, this support may be granted in exchange for services carried out for the institution.

Initiative Grant (“Coup de pouce Initiatives”)

A financial grant awarded to deserving students to support a project related to their studies that they could not undertake otherwise, such as:

  • An internship abroad
  • A summer school programme

Practical information

Scholarship programmes are managed by the Student Experience and Educational Mission Office.

Two selection committees take place each year (in November and March) to award “Coup de Pouce” grants.

👉 Students must apply by completing an application file following the annual call for applications.

For more information, please contact the Student Experience office.

CROUS Scholarships

CROUS need-based scholarships provide financial support to help students fund their studies. They are awarded based on family income and personal circumstances.

Applications must be submitted each year through the Student Social File (DSE), typically open from January 15 to May 31 prior to the academic year. Applying early is strongly recommended to speed up processing.

👉 To ensure your scholarship is taken into account, you must submit your provisional or final scholarship certificate as soon as you receive it. The school will then validate your status with CROUS — this step is essential to finalize the award.
