Becoming a Class Representative

Class representatives act as the spokespersons for their cohort, representing students on all matters related to academic life and student life at ECAM LaSalle.

As a class representative, you will:

  • Be a key point of contact between students and the school (management, academic staff, student services)
  • Facilitate communication and information sharing
  • Help create a positive, supportive and dynamic environment within your class
  • Contribute to improving both academic programmes and student life
  • Take part in constructive dialogue with teachers and ECAM LaSalle staff

Your role

  • Regularly communicate with your cohort
  • Raise issues or concerns with the appropriate contact when needed
  • Take part in Student Life and Academic Committees
  • Contribute to course evaluations and feedback
  • Actively support improvements in student life on campus
  • Represent your cohort during meetings, events, audits or disciplinary boards
  • Report back to your class on actions and outcomes
  • Participate in the AEI General Assembly to represent your cohort

Recognition

Your commitment is officially recognised through:

  • 2 ECTS credits at the end of your programme
  • Mention in the Diploma Supplement

Student Life Committee

This committee brings together all stakeholders involved in student life:

  • AEI and student associations
  • Club presidents
  • Class representatives
  • School management and departments (operations, international, communication, etc.)

It focuses on non-academic topics related to student life on campus.

Meets every two months

Academic Committee

The Academic Committee is a key forum for discussion between:

  • Programme directors
  • Teaching staff
  • Class representatives

  • Review of academic programmes
  • Sharing student feedback
  • Identifying improvements

Meets once per term
