The ECAM LaSalle Arts Society is ECAM LaSalle Lyon’s student arts and culture association, responsible for promoting the school’s arts and cultural community life and supporting the extracurricular activities of the cinema, photography, fine arts and music clubs, as well as the Improv’ECAM theatre club.
Founded in 2020, the association represents ECAM LaSalle students in dealings with all internal or external organisations regarding artistic activities and the sharing of artistic projects within the school. Its primary fields of activity include music and other artistic and cultural disciplines such as photography, cinema, fine arts, and theatre.
The Arts Society also offers members free and fee-based services and activities, both directly and through the Association des Elèves Ingénieurs (AEI or ‘Engineering Students’ Association’).
In addition to running ECAM LaSalle’s arts and culture clubs on a daily basis, Society members are responsible for a number of other activities:
- Organizing Mardis Electro (Electro Tuesdays’) events
- Designing and merchandising Mardis Electro T-shirts
- Playing an active role in the Journées des Arts et de la Culture de l’Enseignement Supérieur (Higher Education Arts and Culture Days’)
