AEI (Engineering Students’ Association)
The AEI is the heart of student life at ECAM LaSalle – Lyon.
It brings the campus to life, supports student clubs and acts as a bridge between students and the school.
👉 In practice, the AEI:
- Organizes major events that bring cohorts together
- Supports clubs in developing their projects
- Represents students to the administration
- Drives student life on a daily basis
An organization structured into teams
The AEI is made up of about 25 students, organized into several teams:
- 🏛️ Executive Board: President, Treasurer, Secretary
- 📣 Communication
- 🤝 Clubs
- 🛍️ ECAM Store
- 🎉 Events & Sponsorship
- 🌙 Parties & Social Events
👉 Together, they work to energize campus life and support student initiatives.
A key role in student life
The AEI acts as the central hub for all clubs and associations.
It supports, advises and helps them develop their projects.
How it works
- The AEI board is elected every year (campaigns take place between November and December)
- The new team takes office in January for a 12-month term
- Members represent the different programmes on campus
👉 Board positions are open to students from ECAM Year 3 onwards.
Governance
- Board meetings (3 times a year):
Bring together AEI members and club leaders to review ongoing projects and launch new initiatives - Annual General Assembly:
A key moment gathering all student life stakeholders to review the year and officially elect the new board
✅ Joining the AEI means getting involved, meeting new people and actively contributing to campus life.
