Technical and Specialty Clubs

The FabLab Club is run by a team of enthusiastic ECAM LaSalle students. If you’re a student and are interested in joining, feel free to drop us a message or come and visit us at the FabLab!

How does it work?

The FabLab Club organises activities, provides training, and supports students in bringing their ideas to life. Everything takes place in the school’s FABLAB, located on the first floor of the Bonnetain building. The FabLab is above all a space for sharing knowledge and experimenting, where members can exchange ideas and work on personal projects together.

What do we do at the FabLab?

The FabLab is a place for doing! It’s where you come to repair, build, prototype, learn, and share – all in a friendly, hands-on atmosphere.

Everyone is welcome at the FabLab, and mutual respect is the golden rule!

Focusing on hydrogen for the past 7 years, the club made a lasting impression in 2019 by finishing 5th in Europe, setting a record of 381 km per cubic metre of hydrogen—that’s the equivalent of 1,200 km per litre of petrol!

EFST is a high-performance club founded in 2022, bringing together around forty students with the shared goal of taking part in the Formula Student competition.

The club is organised in seven technical teams (chassis, suspension, transmission, steering and braking, power electronics, control systems, and aerodynamics) and three administrative teams (communication, sponsorship, and finance/treasury).

While the technical teams focus on designing and developing our prototype, the administrative teams work to build visibility and expand our network to secure funding.

Finally, we present our inventions as a team before a panel at the Salon des Jeunes Inventeurs et Créateurs (‘Young Inventors and Designers Exhibition’) in the town of Monts.
