The Student Life Office organizes prevention initiatives on campus covering various topics such as:

Preventive Medical Check-up
All students benefit from a mandatory medical visit during their time at ECAM LaSalle.
A doctor regularly comes to campus to answer general health questions, provide preventive advice and support students in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Please note:
The doctor cannot issue medical certificates to excuse absences or exams, and does not provide prescriptions.

“Le 102” Student Health Center
“Le 102” is a health center dedicated to students in the Lyon area, offering accessible and comprehensive care in a supportive and professional environment.
Services include:
- Preventive support (individual consultations and group workshops)
- Follow-up consultations with general practitioners, a nurse, a psychologist and a psychiatrist
- Referrals to specialized services if needed
The multidisciplinary team includes doctors, a nurse, a psychologist and a psychiatrist.

Health Insurance
As a student in France, you are covered by the general Health Insurance system. Make sure your information is up to date (registered doctor, Vitale card, contact details, etc.) to ensure proper reimbursement.
You should also create or update your online account to track your reimbursements and manage your procedures.

Student Health Insurance (Mutual Insurance)
SMERRA
SMERRA offers student health insurance plans designed to complement the national health system (consultations, medication, hospitalization, etc.) and help reduce out-of-pocket costs.
Although not mandatory, taking out additional insurance is strongly recommended.
HEYME
HEYME provides flexible and student-friendly complementary health insurance solutions. It covers part or all of the costs not reimbursed by public health insurance.
It also offers digital services and support to make managing your healthcare easier.
A mutual insurance plan is optional but highly recommended.
