Welcoming International Students
At ECAM LaSalle, we place strong emphasis on welcoming and supporting international students, ensuring they enjoy a smooth and enriching experience from the moment they arrive in Lyon.

A Welcome Desk is set up to assist students with all administrative procedures related to settling in France (housing, transport, banking, administrative documents, etc.).
Each international student also benefits from a dedicated welcome programme, including:
- Campus discovery
- Social and networking moments
- A guided tour of Lyon
Intercultural workshops are also organized to encourage exchanges and help students integrate into the ECAM LaSalle community.
Welcome Programme 2026–2027 (Year 1 & Year 3 students)
Monday, August 24: Arrival of students in Lyon
Tuesday, August 25:
- 9:00 am – 12:00 pm: Welcome on campus & campus tour
- 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm: Lunch with international students
- 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Guided tour of Lyon
Wednesday, August 26:
- 9:00 am – 12:00 pm: Welcome Desk
- 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm: Intercultural workshop

Buddy Programme
A Buddy system pairs each international student with a volunteer ECAM student.
The buddy:
- Contacts you before your arrival
- Can welcome you at the station or airport (when possible)
- Helps you settle in and discover student life in Lyon
