The MAKERS Association was established to actively engage ECAM LaSalle students in exciting, innovative projects. Comprising three clubs, it is strategically located on campus.
Each of the student clubs – Robotics, Aerospace and Infosec – brings unique expertise and valuable experience. From robot design to drone management and cybersecurity, our members work together to push the boundaries of their know-how and creativity.
Our mission is to encourage student involvement in collaborative, technical projects. We are dedicated to providing a platform for hands-on learning and innovation within our campus.
The French Robotics Cup
Every year in La Roche-sur-Yon, over 200 teams from all over France participate in an exciting competition that involves designing, building, and programming a fully autonomous robot ready to compete strategically against others.
🎯 The aim? To tackle technical challenges presented by an annually changing theme, all within a lively, friendly atmosphere.
It’s Europe’s biggest amateur robotics event, organised by Planète Sciences magazine. It brings together students, budding engineers, makers… and, of course, the ECAM LaSalle Robotics Club!
Whether you’re a novice roboticist or already have experience, ECAM LaSalle’s Robotics Club welcomes you with open arms to prepare for the next edition. 🛠️💬
Infosec Hackathon
The Infosec Club of the MAKERS Association offers a hackathon open to all ECAM LaSalle students to explore robotics and programming in a practical, fun, and collaborative way.
👉 The aim? To take on a technological challenge as a team, with equipment provided and on-site support.
🎯 For whom? Beginners and enthusiasts alike.
💡 Why take part? To learn, create, share and enjoy a unique experience at the heart of the campus.
The Hackathon event was first launched in April 2025 and brought together many students at the Student Lounge. It promotes student innovation and enhances the dynamic spirit of ECAM campus life.
