Create or Take Over a Club

Do you have an idea for a club, an activity, or a project? Or are you interested in taking over an existing club?
Good news: it’s possible on campus!

Clubs play a key role in student life, covering a wide range of topics: sports, culture, community projects, innovation, leisure, automotive, robotics… as long as the project is open to everyone and aligned with the school’s values.
👉 Discover them by clicking here!

👉 Important: a club is not an independent association.
It must be attached to one of the existing campus associations (AEI, BDS, BDA, MAKERS, AMMT) as a specific activity unit.
As such, it operates under the association’s responsibility and must report on its activities, organization, and budget.

Steps to create or take over a club

1. Define your project

Whether creating or taking over a club, clarify:

  • The club’s purpose
  • The activities you want to offer
  • The target audience

👉 Your project must be inclusive and accessible to all students.

2. Prepare your accreditation file (mandatory)

To create or take over a club, you must complete an accreditation file including:

  • The club’s objectives
  • The implementation of activities
  • A provisional budget
  • The list of members
  • The student association operating charter
  • The club management charter

4. Connect with associations

Your club must be attached to a campus association, which will support you:

  • AEI (student life): aei@asso.ecam.fr
  • BDS (sports): bds@asso.ecam.fr
  • BDA (arts and culture): bda@asso.ecam.fr
  • MAKERS (technology/robotics): makers@asso.ecam.fr
  • AMMT (automotive): ammt@asso.ecam.fr

👉 They can help structure your project or suggest clubs to take over.

5. Launch your club

Once your accreditation file has been approved by the Student Experience Office and your host association:

  • Recruit members
  • Promote your activity via GLYPS
  • Organize your first events
