{"id":7410,"date":"2025-04-15T17:12:52","date_gmt":"2025-04-15T15:12:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/my.ecam-lasalle.fr\/?p=7410"},"modified":"2026-04-10T11:23:00","modified_gmt":"2026-04-10T09:23:00","slug":"lassociation-des-eleves-ingenieurs-aei","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/my.ecam-lasalle.fr\/en\/lassociation-des-eleves-ingenieurs-aei\/","title":{"rendered":"Association of Student Engineers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Association of Student Engineers (AEI, or <em>Association des \u00c9l\u00e8ves Ing\u00e9nieurs<\/em>) is a non-profit organisation under the French associations law of 1901 whose mission is to support, facilitate, and develop student life at ECAM LaSalle Lyon. Acting as the bridge between the administration and the student body, the AEI team supports club activities, organises social events that bring together different graduating classes, and serves as the key point of contact for both the school\u2019s administration and the wider network of student clubs and associations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AEI is composed of 25 engineering students, with responsibilities divided across five areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Association Board: Presidency, Treasury, Secretariat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communication<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clubs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ECAM Store<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Event &#038; Sponsors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social Events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As the heart of ECAM LaSalle&#8217;s student life, the AEI strengthens cohesion between clubs and offers valuable support in developing their projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The association&#8217;s board is elected once a year, following campaign weeks held on campus at the end of the calendar year (between November and December). The newly elected team officially begins its term in January, with each term lasting 12 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AEI\u2019s composition reflects the distribution of students across ECAM LaSalle\u2019s different programmes: 50% ECAM Arts et M\u00e9tiers, 40% ECAM Engineering, and 10% ECAM Alternance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only ECAM 3 and ECAM 4 students (in ECAM 3 at the time of election) are eligible for executive board positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The AEI\u2019s Board of Directors meets once per quarter to review ongoing activities and launch new student life initiatives. The AEI board includes the AEI executive team as well as the presidents of all clubs and associations at the school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An annual General Assembly brings together all stakeholders in student life, including club and association boards, along with class representatives.
